This guide contains essential information for your stay. Please read through it to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
1. Check-in / Check-out
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
2. How to Enter (Smart Lock)
The front door is equipped with a smart lock system.
Please refer to the pre-arrival message for your PIN code.
Unlocking Procedure
- Touch the touch panel lightly to wake up the keypad.
- Enter the PIN code sent inthe message.
- Confirm the door unlocks and enter.
Locking Procedure
- The door locks automatically when closed and the panel is touched.
If an error occurs, please ensure the door is closed firmly and try again. - From inside, you can lock/unlock using the black button on the back of the lock.
3. Self Check-in (Tablet)
After entering, please complete the Guest Registration on the tablet located in the 1st-floor living/dining area,
as required by Niigata Prefecture ordinances
The necessary information for registration is included in your pre-arrival message.
Check-out Procedure
When you leave, please tap the “Check Out” button on the tablet to complete your checkout.

Parking (Free)
- Winter Season: Max 3 cars
- Green Season: Max 5 cars
Parking Areas
- Concrete area in front of the entrance: 1 car (Green season only)
In winter, parking here is strictly for loading/unloading due to the risk of falling snow from the roof. - Asphalt area next to the administration office:
Green season: 4 cars / Winter season: 3 cars
Note: Please inform us in advance if you plan to arrive after 9:00 PM.
Note: Please inform us in advance if the number of cars is decided.
5. Staff & Emergency Contacts
Staff are stationed at the administration office adjacent to Snow Goose.
While your stay is private and non-contact, please feel free to contact us if you need assistance. You can also speak with the manager using the intercom at the entrance.
For equipment trouble or emergencies, please contact the number provided in the pre-arrival message.

8. House Rules
SNOWGOOSE is located in a quiet national park setting.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all people who come to Myoko,
we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following house rules.
Noise
- 23:00〜7:00 の間は、大声・音楽・屋外での談笑はお控えください。
- Please avoid loud sounds when windows or doors are open.
- In the event of complaints from neighbors, guests may be asked to vacate the property.
No Smoking
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
- If smoking is detected indoors, the actual cost of special cleaning and linen replacement will be charged.
No Shoes Indoors
- Please remove your shoes at the entrance.
- Wet boots or shoes should be placed in the drying room.
- Hard-soled footwear is not permitted indoors to protect the floors and furniture.
- Slippers are provided for indoor use.
Snow Safety (Important)
The Myoko area experiences heavy snowfall, and falling snow or ice blocks pose significant risks.
- Do not play under the roof or eaves.
- Do not park directly under the roof.
(The space in front of the entrance is for loading/unloading only during winter.) - Please be extra cautious on days with large temperature changes, as the risk of falling snow increases.
Damage & Stains
Any damage to furniture or facilities, or significant stains caused by wine, oil, cosmetics, etc., may incur a charge for the actual cost of repair or cleaning.
Kitchen Use
- Please follow the waste-sorting guidelines.
- Please wash used dishes or place them in the dishwasher after use.
Sauna Use (Indoor Sauna)
- Please refrain from using the sauna after consuming alcohol.
- Always use the bath mat provided.
- Please ensure the power is turned off after use.
- Glass items and electronic devices are not permitted inside the sauna.
No Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Free Services
- Trash collection (Please press the service button in the laundry room to notify us.)
- Towel replenishment (Please press the service button in the laundry room to notify us.)
- (Winter Season Only) Shuttle service via a 7-passenger van:
- Route: Myoko Kogen Station ⇔ Lodge
- Route: Lodge ⇔ 1 Ski Resort in Myoko Kogen area (Depart Lodge 9:00 / Depart Ski Resort 15:00)
Optional Services (Paid)
Light Cleaning: 22,000 JPY / per time
Regular cleaning is not included during consecutive stays.
Between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the day after your application, we will provide trash collection, restocking of supplies, and light cleaning to the extent possible.
If you would like linen replacement, please let us know when you apply.
